Manchester united legend Eric Cantona
Here is two new acrylic paintings of Manchester united legend Eric Cantona. I really enjoyed doing these two paintings and introducing a lot of color into my work.
I am sticking with the acrylics for now as I like the direction there taking me, especially with my last few paintings, Boy Dylan and Dave Grohl, my work is starting to get much looser and I am enjoying it a lot more! dave

Bob Dylan "Tangled up in Blue"
Here is a painting I just finished of Bob Dylan similar to the Dave Grohl painting I did recently. This is also done in acrylics. I am really trying to enjoy the process of putting the painting together although the end result is very important the process from beginning to end is just as important and I am trying to show that in my work and I will be putting up progress videos soon.

'Mr Foo' Dave Grohl acrylic painting 50x60cm
Here is my latest painting of Foo fighters front man Dave Grohl one of my favourite musicians I listen to the foo fighters all the time. This painting is in acrylics it was a nice change from oils I think nearly my last 50 paintins apart from one or two have been in oils and I am just getting a little sick of them and I am really enjoying using acrylics at the moments and I think I will do alot more work with them in the future. as always any comments would be appreciated and please check out my website www.daviddunneart.com

Clint Eastwood
Here is an oil painting I just finished of the one and only Clint Eastwood. I really enjoyed doing this one once again I went for the sepia tone look and I really like working with the little bit of color its a change from the straight black and white that I do most of the time and I hope to bring even more color into future works.
Any comments would be appreciated and please check out my website.

Eimear Oil Painting
Here is one of my latest Oil paintings 'Eimear' its quite big 71x91cm . I took the reference photographs myself. I really wanted to capture the photograph more so than the portrait. I was trying to paint the photo as much as the person and work with the in focus and out of focus that was captured by the camera. I am really happy with this piece and this is the kinda of work I love to do. It is very time consuming but I hope to do another one soon possibly a self portrait. any comments would be appreciated as usual.

Luke Kelly, Ronnie Drew, The Dubliners
Here is an oil painting I just finished of Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew from the Dubliners. This a bit different to alot of my usual black and whites its more sepia tones and I think it works really well for this one.
I did this painting for 2 good friends of mine its about 12 months over due at this stage but hopefully it was worth the wait any comments would be appreciated as usual.
