Che Guevara
I've just finished a painting of Che Guevara. With the release of movies, Che Part One and Che Part Two I thought the timing was perfect to paint the controversial revolutionary.
Loved by some, loathed by others. I'll let you decide for yourself, I'm happy with the way the painting turned out.
I think the cigar really adds to the painting.

ReplyDeleteDid you know Che's grandmother, Anna Isabel Lynch, was born in the west of Co. Galway and eventually she moved to South America. Once there she met a man called Guevara, and they had a child they named Ernesto who was Che's father.
