This is my latest painting, I was bestman for my brothers wedding at the weekend and did it for him as a gift, he loved it!! He is big into fly fishing, as usual comments are appreciated! dave

Lady Gaga Sketch

Here is quick sketch of Lady Gaga, I am taking a little break from painting and just doing alot of sketching its a nice change. She is someone I will paint in the near future.

Here is my latest painting, its my first painted caricature and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I had been sketching the idea out for weeks and I eventually got the sketch to the stage I was happy enough with and I started working it onto a canvas and I think it developed as the painting went on. I really enjoyed doing this kinda portrait and hope to do more like it in the future I think I get to put more of myself into this kind of work and its not as tight as my typical portraits. If you look at the sunglasses you can see the reflection of the Newyork skyline where Lenny Kravitz is from. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my latest painting of Eric Cantona its the second time for me to paint him the first one was years ago in a acrylics this one is in oils.
I still get comments regularly about the Cantona painting I did years ago so it was long over due for me to do another any comments would be appreciated.

Gone to the dogs

Here is a commissioned piece I just finished, it's something different than the usual but I enjoyed it. Also I added a bit of color with the two collars think it adds to it. Any comments would be appreciated. dave

One of my brothers friends stumbled accross a picture of Berie Ahern with my Ronnie Drew painting in a magazine this week, pretty cool! The painting was bought as a gift for Bertie.

Bob Dylan

Hey guys here is my latest painting of Bob Dylan this is my 4th one to do of him. Sebastian Kruger did a painting of Dylan using a similar reference photo and when I was doing this piece I had Kruger's painting opened which really helped me on this painting it kinda motivated me to make it as good as possible and I also used the picture of his painting as a reference even though his is a caricature it was still very helpful. As usual any comments would be appreciated
