Exhibition Starts & Indo Feature

My first solo exhibition opened on the 4th of March it will run until the 25th, the night was a huge success thanks to all the hard work of Deborah and Denise in The Bad Art Galley! They've been great to me!

Shane Mcgowans partner, Victoria Clarke, opened the exhibition with a questions and answers segment, which everyone enjoyed! Thanks Victoria!

Most of my new exhibition paintings can now be seen on my website www.daviddunneart.com

A Few More Mini Portraits

The canvasses measure 8 x 10 inches. It's quite fun working on mini portraits, it was my first time to paint Buddy Holly, I think I might paint him again someday. dave

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones

This is an oil painting of Keith Richards. Like Bob Dylan, Keith Richards is very interesting to paint, his aged skin and expression show the signs of a man that has enjoyed his life! I might paint Mick Jagger someday. The canvas measures 60 x 45cm.

Bruce Springsteen

This is my fifth painting of the legendary Springsteen. This is one of my biggest ones, the canvas measures 91 x 71cm.

I have included a picture of me workin on the piece because I think it gives a better idea of what the painting is actually like it nearly brings it to life when you can see me sitting there working on it, as oppose to just seeing the usual flat finished picture which gives no idea of size or anything really.
