A Few More Mini Portraits

The canvasses measure 8 x 10 inches. It's quite fun working on mini portraits, it was my first time to paint Buddy Holly, I think I might paint him again someday. dave

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones

This is an oil painting of Keith Richards. Like Bob Dylan, Keith Richards is very interesting to paint, his aged skin and expression show the signs of a man that has enjoyed his life! I might paint Mick Jagger someday. The canvas measures 60 x 45cm.

Bruce Springsteen

This is my fifth painting of the legendary Springsteen. This is one of my biggest ones, the canvas measures 91 x 71cm.

I have included a picture of me workin on the piece because I think it gives a better idea of what the painting is actually like it nearly brings it to life when you can see me sitting there working on it, as oppose to just seeing the usual flat finished picture which gives no idea of size or anything really.

I had few small canvasses knocking around so I decided to paint a few mini portraits, the canvasses measure 8 x 10 inches. I quite like working with the smaller canvasses, I think I'll do a few more someday... dave
